Why Install a Home EV Charger?

Relying on public charging stations can be inconvenient and unpredictable.

A properly installed home charging station gives you:

  • Overnight charging convenience
  • Faster charging speeds
  • Increased property value
  • Reduced long-term charging costs
  • Greater daily reliability

With a Level 2 charger, most vehicles can charge significantly faster than standard wall outlets.

Professional EV Charger Installation

Installing an EV charger is not just mounting equipment on the wall.

Proper installation requires:

  • Electrical load calculations
  • Dedicated circuit installation
  • Panel capacity evaluation
  • Breaker sizing
  • Proper grounding
  • Code-compliant wiring
  • Final inspection and testing

Our licensed electricians evaluate your existing panel and determine whether your system can safely support EV charging.

If upgrades are required, we provide panel upgrades or dedicated circuits to ensure long-term safety and performance.

Types of EV Chargers We Install

We install:

  • Level 1 chargers
  • Level 2 chargers
  • Hardwired charging stations
  • Smart charging systems
  • Commercial EV charging stations

Whether you drive a Tesla, Ford, Chevy, Rivian, or any other electric vehicle, we install chargers compatible with your system.

Does Your Panel Need an Upgrade?

Many homes built before 2000 may not have sufficient capacity for EV charging.

If your panel is:

  • 100 amps or less
  • Frequently tripping breakers
  • Already near capacity
  • Outdated or recalled

You may need a panel upgrade before installing an EV charger.

Your charger is only as reliable as the electrical system behind it.

Residential & Commercial EV Charging

We install EV chargers for:

  • Single-family homes
  • Garages
  • Multi-unit residential properties
  • Commercial parking lots
  • Office buildings
  • Fleet charging setups

Every installation is customized to meet your property’s power requirements and long-term usage goals.

  • Water Heater and Well Pump Issues Solved in One Day
I had an outstanding experience with Platinum Plumbing & Water Well services! When my well pump suddenly stopped working, they were able to come out the same day, which was a huge relief. On top of that, I also needed help with my water heater, and they took care of both issues during the same visit. The tech, Jon, was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He took the time to explain what was going on, gave me options, and got everything back up and running quickly. • Received Great Value from the Platinum Plumbing Package
We just bought a house with no idea of the troubles with the plumbing and everything else. It was a total disaster. I looked on Angi for plumbers and Platinum Plumbing stuck out, we called, they came out and did their inspection...it's worse than we imagined. They gave quotes on everything, we picked the Platinum pkg and they completed the work the same day. Amazing! Greg, Charles and Nathan worked all day and into the evening to get the job done. It's amazing that they're very polite, courteous, professional and helped us with everything that needed to be done, even helped my husband with a drain he was redoing! When I need another job, I will definitely call on Platinum Plumbing! I would recommend everyone who needs a good plumber to call Platinum Plumbing first and they'll be no need to call anyone else. Go Platinum. You won't go wrong!
